Long Selected as Fellow for 2014 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

Lane Powell Shareholder Jill R. Long has been selected for the 2014 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (“LCLD”), a national organization made up of the legal profession’s top general counsel and managing partners.  The Fellows program is a highly structured initiative built to increase diversity at the leadership levels of the nation’s law firms and corporate legal departments. 

Lane Powell Raises More Than $33,000 for Oregon Food Bank

Lane Powell raised more than $33,000 during the Oregon Lawyers Against Hunger (“OLAH”) food drive, benefiting the Oregon Food Bank.  As the top fund-raiser during this year’s drive and for past years, Lane Powell again received the “Silver Barrel Award” — it is the Firm’s 16th year to receive this recognition.

Energy Trust of Oregon, Inc. Management Review Request for Proposals

Energy Trust of Oregon, Inc., a nonprofit organization, requests written proposals for a management review to be completed by August 15, 2014. An Intent to Respond is required to submit an RFP and to participate in the conference call to address RFP questions. The Intent to Respond is due at Energy Trust no later than 3 p.m. February 21, 2014.

NAPE Foundation Names Two Additional Lane Powell/Lee Nusich Scholarships

The Naa Amerley Palm Education (“NAPE”) Foundation recently awarded two more Lane Powell/Lee Nusich Scholarships to deserving students attending institutions of higher learning in Ghana.  Including the most recent recipients, a total of 48 scholarships have been awarded to Ghanaian university students since the scholarship foundation started in January 2009.
