Zip-O-Log Mills owns Pennington Crossarm Co., a few blocks away on West First Avenue, which produces crossarms for utility poles. The glulam plant will occupy about half of the Pennington building.
…Glulam beams are not a new product in the wood products industry, but they are something new for Zip-O-Log Mills. “We are going to be a pretty small player in a big market,” Hallstrom said.
