Median prices fell slightly and fewer sales closed in July compared to June, but Lane County’s housing market still continued to gain strength compared to a year ago.

The median price of a home in the county was $215,000, with half the homes selling for more than that and half for less, RMLS figures showed. That was down 2.2 percent from June, and up 18.5 percent from July a year ago.
