Lane County home prices and number of transactions increased in April, echoing the national housing market rebound.
The home sales volume and median price rose by almost a third compared with a year ago, the RMLS reported Wednesday. There were 309 closed sales in April and the median sales price was $212,000. The median price is a midpoint, with half the sales closing above this price and half below.
Marie Due, a broker with Barnhart Associates in Eugene, said she recently showed six properties to buyers moving to the area from out of state. Within a week, all were pending sales, she said.
