Baltimore-based design and planning firm Biohabitats opened an office in Portland’s Old Town.

Biohabitats features an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, ecologists, biologists, soil scientists, natural resource planners, geomorphologists, planners, and engineers organized by bioregions. The company employs 65 and tackles between 80 and 100 active projects at a time.

Doors opened at the Portland office in April following Biohabitats’ involvement in projects with Clean Water Services, Nike and EcoDistricts.
