Adidas filed a civil suit against another sportswear company — California-based Athletic Propulsion Labs — over trademark infringement.
[Adidas] claims APL is selling shoes that are “confusingly similar” to Adidas shoes and “likely to deceive, confuse, and mislead purchasers.”
It wants the court to stop APL from selling the allegedly infringing shoes and force APL to fork over the profits it made from selling the shoes.
