West University neighborhood blossoms following construction of student housing.
A number of other new businesses have recently set up shop in the west university neighborhood, or plan to soon, including an Italian bistro, a cupcake bakery and a coffee shop.
The 100-unit complex, dubbed “The Patterson” by its local developer, Dan Neal, will include 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, already reserved for a sushi place, a Chinese restaurant, a flower shop nearing its 100th anniversary and a property management office.
