The Portland software maker expects to use the funds to hire more workers.

Just last year, the company raised $30 million through a strategic investment from VMware. Since 2009, the company has raised $86 million in total venture capital.

Involved in this round are investors Cisco, Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Triangle Venture Capital Group, True Ventures and VMware. True Ventures remains the largest share holder but between the three biggest share holders — True, VMware and Cisco — no one holds more than 20 percent.
