The bargaining session begins at 9:30 a.m. at district headquarters on North Dixon Street. The state mediator will be present. Last week, the two sides held a marathon 21-hour negotiation session, after which Portland Association of Teachers President Gwen Sullivan told reporters they were “pretty darn close” to a deal.
