Seven companies raised $70.4 million altogether, according to the numbers compiled by the NVCA’s MoneyTree Report from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Most of the venture money came from just two Portland deals — $30 million raised by software startup Puppet Labs in January, and $25 million that mobile app developer Urban Airship raised the following month.
