Business recruitment nonprofit Lane Metro Partnership is in turmoil as it tries to oust the longtime executive director.

The change is being pushed by Lane County Administrator Liane Richardson and the Lane County Board of Commissioners, [Director Jack] Roberts wrote in a memo he sent Monday to the volunteer board of Lane Metro.

Roberts wrote that at a meeting last month with Richardson, she told him the commissioners would refuse to approve the county’s customary $100,000 annual allocation to Lane Metro “unless there is a change in leadership” at the agency.

Richardson said that’s not true.
