After five years of losses that cut 14% of its jobs, Oregon’s finance industry is recovering.

Banks, insurers and other financial companies added 300 jobs in September, adjusted for seasonal factors. That’s according to the monthly jobs report released Tuesday by the Oregon Employment Department.

Altogether, the industry last month employed 95,100 people, up 3,100 from September 2011.
