The state has the ninth-most people employed in the video game industry, according to a report released by the Entertainment Software Association.

The average compensation of employees in Oregon’s video game sector is $91,130.

Oregon cracked the Top 10 in terms of video game employment nationwide, but it’s still far below Washington, which ranked No. 3. In Washington there are 95 game development facilities and the industry added $595 million to the state economy.
