Members of the Oregon Media Production Association said the formula that worked to welcome filmmakers should work the same way for game designers.
Oregon now offers tax rebates to companies like Portland’s Liquid Development, which has worked on “Halo 4,” “Rock Band” and the new Batman game, “Arkham Origins,” which is coming out in a few weeks.
