Oregon video game producers get own group


Oregon Video Game Association will be a part of the Technology Association of Oregon.

Oregon Video Game Association will be a part of the Technology Association of Oregon.

The OVGA had an official launch on Dec. 11 with more than 300 people attending the party at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Its goal is to organize into one voice a sector of the economy that has a sizable impact on the state’s economy, said Technology Association of Oregon President Skip Newberry.

“It’s not just anecdotal,” he said of the impact.
