Division of Cascade TEK sold to network of testing facilities that is controlled by Element Materials Technology.
The sale closed on Nov. 1.
As part of the acquisition, Element picks up the testing labs in Hillsboro and Longmont, Colorado, as well as 18 employees. Included is Terry Candlish, co-owner and general manager of Cascade TEK who will stay on to oversee lab operations.
Not included in the deal is the oven manufacturing business attached to Cascade TEK Ovens LLC. Five employees will remain with that business. The oven business will continue to be owned by Candlish and co-owner Mary Babitz.
