A proposed medical marijuana dispensary arouses ire of rural Lane County community.
More than 40 people packed the City Hall meeting room on Tuesday night for a City Council meeting that was scheduled to start with a discussion on fiber-optic Internet service. Instead, during nearly two hours of public comments, residents accused Mayor Jae Pudewell, the council and the city staff of keeping the dispensary plan out of public view.
