Fleet Feet is a North Carolina-based company that works with franchisee owners around the United States. Rice and Zepernick owned and sold a Fleet Feet franchise in San Diego this year before moving to Portland in preparation for ownership of Fit Right, Sobolik said.
Both Fit Right locations will remain locally owned and operated by Rice and Zepernick, Sobolik said, while having the support of Fleet Feet. There are no immediate plans to change the name of the stores, at 2258 N.W. Raleigh St. in Portland and 16020 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Suite 113 in Vancouver.
