Following a record first-quarter performance, the Washington County-based outdoor apparel company reported a sales growth of 16% to $324.2 million.

The company said it expected global sales of approximately $2.01 billion to $2.04 billion — 19 to 21 percent growth over 2013 net sales of $1.68 billion. In February, the company said it projected mid-teens sales growth for the year.

The anticipated growth of approximately $320 million to $355 million includes sales of about $155 million from the company’s new China joint venture that started in January and another $55 million from the prAna brand, coupled with high single-digit percentage organic growth.
