Net income dipped slightly to $36.7 million, but that included a $5.6 million non-recurring charge. Without the charge, income would have climbed roughly 7 percent.
Earnings per share of $1.21 (before subtracting the $0.16 per share charge) exceeded expectations of analysts by $0.29 per share.
