Cosmos Creations hopes to build a 135,000-square-foot factory in Lane County that could hire up to 150 workers over several years.

The company is firming up financing, wants to begin construction quickly, and hopes to have the $4 million steel-frame building done by the end of this year, CEO John Strasheim said.

Fast-growing Junction City-based Cosmos currently has 55 employees at its existing Junction City factory and offices at West First Avenue, and with the new factory “eventually over the next couple of years we will add another 150,” Strasheim said.
