Georgia-based Carry-On Trailer Corp. purchased the former Monaco Coach Corp. plant.
The firm, said to be among the nation’s largest makers of cargo trailers, began production of enclosed cargo trailers in Coburg on Jan. 20.
Carry-On now employs 11 people, but expects that number to reach 50 by the year end, General Manager Wayne Bishop said Thursday.
