The solar manufacturer’s shipments grew 36% year-over-year in 2015, but the $770-million lawsuit with Hemlock Semiconductor Corp. still awaits resolution.
SolarWorld, which has its Americas headquarters in Hillsboro, claimed there is little probability the lawsuit with Hemlock Semiconductor Corp. will have a negative outcome in its 2015 annual report. That judgment came the day after Hemlock attempted to get a faster resolution for the case.
That claim is counter to company statements from last March. As I wrote in November, last year’s annual report states that if the lawsuit is successful, it could threaten the company’s very existence.
