Hillsboro Parks & Recreation officials are still tallying the results of the first Hillsboro Hops season, but are calling it a success.

The numbers will come from a variety of sources. The licensing agreement signed with the former Yakima Bears franchise last year included a $150,000 annual rent, $1 ticket surcharge, and $5 per car parking fee for the city.

Debt service on the ballpark bonds amounts to $769,336 annually, according to city documents. The short-season Hops’ played a 38-game home schedule, starting with a June 17 sellout.
