The policies would have meant job losses at several Oregon businesses, including some in the immediate Eugene-Springfield area, business owners said. They were overjoyed to hear about the university’s change of heart.
Triangle Graphics in Eugene, which has made Duck-licensed products for more than two decades, faced trimming positions from its eight-person work force, owner John Henzie said Thursday.
