Eugene-based Strapworks is celebrating the grand opening of its new 30,000-square-foot, $2 million factory.
The new building is in back of the company’s former, cramped 8,000-square-foot factory along West First Avenue near South Bertelsen Road, where it moved four years ago with 18 employees.
Now the company has 47 employees, including the Fosters’ 31-year-old son, Douglas. It generated $4.2 million in gross revenue last year, with aspirations to become a $10 million company with 100 employees in two years.
