Portland online gift card startup Giftango was sold last year, and now till take the name of its new owner, InComm Digital Solutions.
A privately held Atlanta company called InComm bought Giftango late last year, made it a wholly owned subsidiary and retained Giftango’s 40 Portland employees (the company had another 15 elsewhere.) In a written statement this morning, former Giftango chief executive David Nelsen – now an InComm general manager, said its work force has nearly doubled since the acquisition.
Giftango’s technology enables online gift cards. InComm does prepaid cards and transaction services. The companies did not report terms of their deal.
