Lucid Energy’s innovative Portland water-driven power project is nearly ready.
Lucid completed all of the zoning, permitting, approval and contract processes required for the Conduit 3 Hydroelectric project, or the LucidPipe Power system, for the Portland Water Bureau. The company received Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approval on the effort, which allows installation to begin later this month.
Lucid also signed an agreement that calls for Site Based Energy Global to serve as the project’s principal investor and operator. The agreement follows a $600,000 fundraising round from an Israeli crowdfunding endeavor.
