Six U.S. teams are joining Oregon and Oregon State universities in playoff tournaments this weekend in the Willamette Valley.

The hundreds of players, coaches and fans traveling to Corvallis and Eugene are likely to make a noticeable impact on the local economy.

Mary Pat Parker, executive director of the Corvallis Visitors Bureau estimated $2 million would be pumped into the community this weekend because the Beavers are hosting two teams from Texas and another from California.
