Dave’s Killer Bread announced that John Tucker will succeed Shobi Dahl as CEO. Tucker is currently president of Eugene-based Turtle Mountain.
The move, which was anticipated after New York-based Goode Partners LLC took half-ownership of the breadmaker last year in exchange for cash and management help, means current CEO Shobi Dahl will move into a support role, though he’ll help Tucker with the transition. Dave Dahl, who created the bread line, remains president.
Mostly, Tucker’s appointment means the company’s plans to expand into the national bread market — estimated at roughly $21.6 billion in 2012 — moves into second gear.
