It’s not usually news when a company stays put, but Tripwire’s decision is notable in part because Oregon has a long history of losing tech companies to other cities. Most recently, telecommunications company Integra confirmed last week that it will move its headquarters to Vancouver in 2014.
Tripwire is one of just a handful of large tech companies with headquarters in Portland’s city limits. Owned by the private equity firm Thoma Bravo, Tripwire said its 2012 revenues topped $100 million for the first time.
