Portland startup Chirpify expanded its online commerce technology to Facebook. It offers a similar service on Twitter and Instagram.

Country star Tim McGraw had already been selling an album on his Facebook page, using Chirpify’s technology. Today, Chiprify said that Adidas, the Portland Trail Blazers, Portland Timbers, and bands including Owl City and Neon Trees will also offer Facebook purchases.

Chirpify, which raised $1.3 million in venture capital last year, is among the highest profile companies among a cluster of Portland financial technology startups. They are using advances in social media and mobile payments in commercial markets. Others in the cluster include mobile banking startup Simple and digital gift card specialist Giftango.
