The Oregon Community Foundation invested $750,000 in the Oregon Angel Fund as part of a commitment to invest $2.25 million over three years. 

OAF is an early-stage investment fund that backs young companies in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

It’s invested $15 million in 25 startups to date, and returned $7.6 million to investors through the sale of six of those companies — most recently Portland-based Giftango, which OAF described as its biggest deal to date.
