That means that several hundred Hillsboro residents who commute to EHE’s Portland-based business clients can go to Adventist for preventive health screens.
These screens are souped-up versions of traditional annual check-ups. Physicians and clinics in the EHE network follow its guidelines, which can include specialized tests like mammograms and colonoscopies and year-round online health coaching. The idea behind EHE’s model is that businesses save money if their workers’ health problems are caught and treated early.
