PepsiCo plans to shut down its Salem warehouse and lay off 66 workers.

Pepsi plans to shift the work to its Corvallis and Portland hubs, spokesperson Vincent Bozek wrote in an email.

Most employees at the Silverton Road Northeast site will have a chance to transfer to Portland and Corvallis, Bozek said. All will be paid through March 23, one month after the facility’s planned closure, according to a mandatory layoff notice received by the state Thursday.
