Portland-based Carbon Audio’s wireless speaker for laptops and tablets received national attention from the New York Times.

New York Times’ tech reviewer David Pogue featured the Zooka earlier this month in his “12 Days of Gadgets” series.

The Zooka started as a Kickstarter project in February, and Carbon Audio says it raised more than $70,000 by March. Product delivery began in September, and the Zooka is now available from Apple, Best Buy, Nordstrom and Target.
