SolarWorld will lay off as many as 37 workers from its Hillsboro plant, company officials confirmed Wednesday.
Gordon Brinser, Hillsboro-based president of SolarWorld Industries America, said layoffs could ultimately amount to 25, because 12 of the 37 workers are being offered jobs elsewhere in the company.
