Portland-based Precision Castparts has agreed to acquire Texas Honing, the latest in a string of recent acquisitions.
THI offers pipe-processing services, Precision said in a news release, including honing, boring, straightening and turning. Its products are used in oil and gas drilling, and other applications. THI has three facilities in Houston with more than 200 employees.
It said THI will help it expand into the oil and gas market.
