A Port of Portland labor dispute impacted Oregon’s economic growth for the second straight month in August.
The Oregon Measure of Economic Activity climbed that month to an above-average growth rate. But the gains would have been steeper if not for an ongoing dispute that led ships to bypass Portland, according to a statement issued by U of O economist Tim Duy.
