Portland pizza shop Sizzle Pie plans to open a branch in Eugene by the end of the year.
It is just the latest business to announce plans to move into the recently remodeled brick building with big arched windows at the southwest corner of Broadway and Willamette Street.
Sizzle Pie’s claim to fame is an extensive menu of more than 35 thin-crust pies, including meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Each shop sells 12-inch or 18-inch pies, and has eight or nine varieties available by the slice, starting at $3, said co-owner Matthew Jacobson.
