Through restructuring, PeaceHealth has cut at least 130 jobs from its Lane County operations in the past year.
PeaceHealth officials confirmed this week that the organization has cut 120 jobs in Lane County through retirement, layoffs and moving positions to a new “shared services center” in Vancouver, Wash. That center handles many back-office functions, such as technology and accounting, for PeaceHealth’s sprawling operations from Ketchikan, Alaska, to Cottage Grove.
But the cuts apparently have been more extensive, although PeaceHealth can’t provide details.
