Oregon State University is holding public forums to discuss restoring Lane County’s 4-H program. 

The 4-H program was cut in 2010 after Lane County pulled back funding for the extension service and voters rejected a property tax measure to support the service and its programs.

Rebuilding the county program is now one of the biggest priorities of the Oregon 4-H Foundation, according to Scott Elmshaeuser, executive director of the foundation.
