Jobless rates in many areas of Oregon increased in July.
State figures released Tuesday show Benton County — home of Oregon State University — continues to have the lowest unemployment rate in the state. However, the seasonally adjusted rate did increase from 6.1 percent in June to 6.3 percent in July.
Crook County, in Central Oregon, had the state’s highest unemployment rate — 14.1 percent.
