Croman Corp. of White City won a $25.86 million contract to provide helicopter support services to the U.S. Navy in Hawaii.

The company has 10 full-time and four to five part-time employees in Hawaii and 90 employees overall, said Brian Beattie, the company’s director of operations. For the Navy contract, the company flies passengers and cargo where the Navy requires, he said. The work used to be performed by the Navy, but the service turned to private contractors six years ago, he said.
