Portland startup Elemental Technologies’ systems will power live streams for the Olympics all over the world.

“Our first customer win was the BBC, the oldest broadcaster in the world,” [CEO Sam] Blackman said.

Then, other television networks soon followed. Now, Elemental’s technology will be used by 77 countries, including the U.S., over the NBC Olympics site.
