With an estimated 40,000 people flooding the fair grounds, it wasn’t too surprising that many of the stores said they definitely saw an increase in sales over the weekend.
“This is the busiest time of year for us…It’s always great to have extra business for any business regardless of who you are especially during these days and times with the economy the way it is,” said Shell Station Assistant Manager Samantha Yliz.
