California electric carmaker Tesla Motors will open a retail outlet at Washington Square on July 20.

The store is Tesla’s first in Oregon and is near Coach and Nordstrom in the westside mall.

Its newest vehicle, the Model S luxury sedan, will be on display. The store includes interactive displays where buyers can customize their car.
