Tesla Motors is opening Oregon’s first SuperCharger station in Woodburn off Interstate 5 this week.
With the Woodburn station, Tesla Model S owners will have access to 19 Superchargers between city centers to enable long-distance travel in the U.S.
By the end of the year, Tesla plans to have the following routes “fully enabled” with Superchargers: Los Angeles to New York; Vancouver to Phoenix; and Boston to Miami. The company plans to have enough Superchargers installed to serve 95 percent of the U.S. population by the end of 2015.
