The U.S. International Trade Commission voted unanimously in favor of SolarWorld in its case against China.

The vote in Washington, D.C. … moves federal investigations forward and clears the way for potential tariffs on Chinese solar panels sold in the United States.

SolarWorld, a German company with a Hillsboro solar-panel plant that employs 1,000 workers, contends that Beijing illegally subsidizes Chinese companies that sell panels below cost in the United States in order to corner the market.
