Intel is growing its work force for the first time in five years, with an interest in new skills from a younger generation.

Though Intel has one of the world’s best known brands, and reported revenues of more than $43 billion last year, it needs young developers…to develop the next generation of technology. Intel has been shut out of the hot market for mobile devices, like Google’s Android phone and Apple’s iPad.

So Intel is reinventing itself, cooking up its own mobile operating system and hiring the software developers to create it.
